Serve With Us!

Ushers

Each of our weekend masses has a corps of ushers who assist the parishioners by welcoming them to church, collecting the Sunday offering, and distributing bulletins. The ushers are always looking for new members to assist with this ministry of welcoming. For ushering at the English masses please contact Roy Meldahl at 773-725-2821.

Ministers of Care

This group is trained to bring Communion to the sick of the parish in their homes, in hospitals and in nursing homes.
For further information and if you would like to participate in this ministry please contact Jackie Dupon at 773-545-4265 or e-mail her at Jaded40@ameritech.net.

Altar Servers

Altar Servers assist the priest in the sancturay for Sunday mass and on other special ocasions. Those who wish to serve need to have received their First Communion and to prepare for this ministry by attending a few sessions before begining to serve. Along with the children who serve, adults are also serving the altar at St. Viator Parish. Those interested in serving should contact Brett Huelat huelatfamily@gmail.com.
